Expert Recruits are thrilled to be recruiting for a Divorce Associate to join a long established, successful and welcoming Top 100 UK Law Firm.
The role will sit in the Leeds office within the Divorce & Family department, where you’ll advise on all aspects of private Family law. You can expect to be handling complex cases for High-Net-Worth individuals and high-end financial and children’s cases.
Working within their wonderfully friendly and supportive team on a busy and varied workload, your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Taking initial instructions, establish suitability of the matter(s) by researching & reviewing documents
- Keeping up regular communication with clients, solicitors and supervisors
- Attending regular meetings
- Explaining the fee structure and keep the clients up to date with any changes in fee estimates, providing them sound advice and pre & post proceedings
- Preparing reports / letters of advice
- Drafting statements
- Instructing Counsel and/or experts
- Compiling Disclosure lists and bundles
- Preparing cost estimates and schedules
With 2-6 years PQE, you will be a dedicated, successful and highly regarded Divorce/Family Associate with a keen interest in delivering exceptional service to clients. You must hold a minimum 2:1 law degree with a commendation at LPC.
